PINK OCTOBER

This past October, our Russellville High School Transition Students took quite the stance against breast cancer. The students made bracelets and sold them to the community. They teamed up with Operation Team Impact to raise financial support for Jackie. All of the proceeds went help with Jackie's medical expenses.

We would like to introduce you to Jackie. She doesn't show it, but she is an 80 year old grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 2. Several years ago, her loving husband lost his battle with cancer and now she is in her own fight against breast cancer. After her recent surgery, she is now left with an insurmountable amount of medical bills and her ongoing expense with cancer treatments. She lives alone here in Russellville and is on a fixed income.
